Redmond graduated from Brighton University in 2005 with a BSc Hons in Physiotherapy. This was a career change following a serious accident in which he suffered multiple fractures and underwent 5 months of physiotherapy rehabilitation. In the 18 years since then Redmond has worked in both the NHS and private practice and is currently a senior physiotherapist at Great Western Hospital, Swindon. RPB Physiotherapy opened in 2018.
In the NHS Redmond has worked in orthopaedics, respiratory, rehabilitation, hand therapy and hydrotherapy. He gained a diploma in Orthopaedic Medicine in 2013. Redmond has had extensive experience of treating spinal, shoulder and lower limb conditions. Over the last 2 years he has specialized with associated training in shoulder rehabilitation, knee and hip injuries & post-op rehab, rheumatology and paediatrics. More recently he has acquired training in foot and ankle problems with orthotics prescription.
Redmond is a member of the CSP (Chartered Society of Physiotherapists) and is registered with the HCPC (Health & Care Professions Council) and has an up to date enhanced DBS.
